When I first read “Prairie-links” golf, I thought “aren’t they the same thing” (minus the large body of near-by water)? After thinking for that a second I concluded that either 1) they were (which means it would be great) or 2) they aren’t (and there is something for me to experience out there). Prairie Green in South Dakota was the first course I found that boasted of Prairie-links golf, so it was my choice.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of water that appears to be in play on the course, especially in a three hole stretch (15, 16, 17) on the back nine…
From the tips the course plays over 7000 yards, so there is also plenty of course to enjoy! Bunkers and water and winds… oh my! Day 42 should be fun.
