Course Introduction – The Powder Horn

First of all, it’s called “The Powder Horn,” with a great name like that you kind of have to prove yourself unworthy. The Powder Horn most definitely does not do that.

With three 9 hole tracks, all featuring a slightly different look and feel, there is something for everyone here… including a Swilcan Burn Bridge replica! I’m a target-golf-all-day kinda guy, so reading “Woods and wetlands surround the Old Red Barn to create target golf with Old West flair” on the web site spoke to me as well.

The Powder Horn has received it’s share of accolades as well, including 12 years running on GolfWeek’s “Best Residential Golf Courses” list. Wyoming is day 45 and near the end of the trip, but the golf adventures will still be going strong!
