California has *A LOT* of Golf courses, a lot. Selecting a course there was demanding to say the least but a course that is rated by Golf digest behind only Pebble and Spyglass certainly deserves a glance. And when that casual looks reveals something like this…
You kind of feel you are heading in the right direction.
In looking at overhead views of the course (and this is substantiated by the course description on their web site) it became apparent that there are no side by side holes on this course. Meaning that a golfer, or group, could have a truly “private” experience at this club throughout the entire round. Saddle Creek Golf Resort in Copperopolis (a city name that just begs for a super-hero, and how can you not love that!) will be my stop on day 2 in California.
