Sometimes, less is more…
I just love the calm, inviting, walk-in-the-woods feel of that picture. It certainly seems like the kind of place where the line “Here you’ll be treated like family and remember what it’s like to play for the pure enjoyment of the game” from Pursell Farms course description fits perfectly.
Sometimes, though… more is more… and the FarmLinks course offers a lot…
Note the elevation change, always one of my favorite features. But maybe you’re into a little more than elevation change… maybe you want elevation change *and* water to carry… they’ve got that too…
If I’m being candid, the biggest problem I have with Pursell Farms is that I had too many great shots to choose from, and eliminating a couple from this preview was a daunting task! FarmLinks has been the number 1 rated (GolfWeek) all-access course in Alabama for the past four (and five of six) years, and it’s easy to see why. Alabama is day 14, which means I don’t have to wait that long to play here, and I’m pretty excited about that!
