Course Introduction – Anchorage Golf Course

So… Alaska. It’s a place I’ve always dreamed about visiting, but I’m going to be there for less then 20 hours, so it’ll be slightly less than the full scenic tour. On a positive note, though, I’ll be playing Anchorage Golf Course, where there is no shortage of scenery… I’m including the obligatory moose-in-Alaska shot first…

Hopefully not lost in that shot is the great forested, rolling fairway in the background. The course is, as you might imagine surrounded by trees, wilderness and all things Alaska. I really don’t think there is a bad view anywhere. Being so far North also allows for some unique golfing experiences, like teeing it up at 10pm and playing through midnight into the following day.

Consistently ranked as one of Alaska’s best courses, Anchorage Golf Course will be both challenging and exciting to play. Alaska is day 49 (and it’s pretty crazy to think that I’ll be going from golf in Alaska to golf in Hawaii in less than 24 hours!).. here’s a little video to further appreciate the course…
